A Night in Disappointment

The staff was helpful and promptly addressed our air conditioning issue. The spacious room offered a sense of comfort amidst the chaos.

However, mold, dirty beds, and a strong unpleasant smell made for a distressing stay. We left feeling unwell after just three nights.

I had a decent stay at Howard Johnson in Lake City, but there were definitely some issues. The bed felt comfortable, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. However, the bathroom left a lot to be desired. There were signs of mold and a lingering unpleasant smell that made me feel uneasy. The pool closed too early at 8 pm, which was disappointing. I noticed a lot of strange people hanging around outside, adding to the discomfort. The door lock on my room didn't seem secure either, which made me anxious. Accessing the room was sometimes a struggle due to the heavy door. On the positive side, I appreciated the size of the room and how spacious it felt. The beds were comfortable, which is what I needed after a long day of travel. I just wish the management would address the cleanliness and security issues more seriously.
